Yes, shampoos & conditioners also contain Soy. What happens if I use shampoo & conditioners with Soy, you may ask? My scalp, shoulders and back break out and get super dry. EW. GROSS.

So, DevaCurl is one of those companies that mostly have Soy ingredients in their products. Since I have wavy/curly natural hair, I’d like something made for that…
Is that a hard task? YES.
You have to get the Original of these or you’ll grab a Soy infested one. These products smell delicious and you can get them at Ulta or Sephora, so its not so bad! They last me a really long time, which I like because I don’t like spending millions of dollars that I don’t have on products.
Lush
Lush has a lot of options when it comes to shampoo and conditioners that do not contain Soy!
I have used multiple but usually go to Daddy-O, a purple shampoo for blonde hair.
Conditioners are all about smell and texture to me, coming from Lush. This new Candy Rain conditioner smells really nice and you don’t need as much as some other conditioners out there. I’m just not sure if it’s here to stay.
American Cream is an oldie but goodie, it smells nice and makes my hair silky!
Depending on the texture of your hair, I have thin, wavy/curly, it may or may not work for you!
